On Remembrance Day we take pause to reflect on the sacrifices made to keep our nation free and to honour those who fought for our country.
Across the country people will gather at their workplaces, schools, town halls, churches, legions, even around their televisions or radios in homage to those who have dedicated themselves to protecting our sovereignty and way of life. We will take a moment of silence to reflect on the significance of that level of servitude and think of loved ones past and present. We will proudly wear poppies, in solidarity, as a sign of support, gratitude, and grief over the lives lost while protecting all that we hold dear.
